Thanks to a fresh, balanced spring with a warm summer, without excess heat or rain the 2004 is a great vintage. More traditional than the other Barbarescos, the Pajoré is the epitome of elegant austerity, with striking balance and perfect ripeness. The Barbaresco Pajoré 2004, with its characteristic intense, deep garnet red colour has intense aromas of spices and tobacco, red fruits and a very elegant note of violet, together with a hint of liquorice. The taste, elegant and juicy, is well balanced and the tannins are dense and velvety; a great combination of power and refinement.
